Programs - Young Toddlers
Our Young Toddlers curriculum was
created to focus on the primary areas of
development for young toddlers. We
consistently work with your child and
provide them with a surplus of love and
care to help them reach necessary
milestones.
Young Toddlers
Areas of Development
Emotional Skills: We encourage our young
toddlers to explore their emotions.
Teachers keep your child engaged in fun
activities, such as singing and dancing, to
keep your child's emotions on a positive
level.

Social Skills: At this age, children will begin
to be able to recognize their reflection and
will call themselves by name. They will begin
to develop the ability for independent play
as well as initiate play. We have specific
times throughout the day designated for
group activities and free-play to help
develop your child's social skills.

Communication Skills: At this age, your
child will be able to say small words and
names. We have various activities where we
work on progressing your child's speaking
skills, such as phonics.

Fine Motor Skills: We will continuously work
on your child's fine motor skills with daily
activities, such as holding a crayon, stacking
items, grabbing objects, and picking up small
items.

Gross Motor Skills: We will work on and
improve your child's large motor skills with
activities, such as walking, rolling, jumping,
and climbing.

Cognitive Skills: Cognitive skills are mental
skills that are used in the process of
acquiring knowledge; these skills include
reasoning, perception, and intuition. One
way we will work on cognitive skills will be by
developing your child's problem solving skills
through puzzles.
