| Emotional Skills: We promote positive emotions among our Preschool children. At this age, children are able to verbally express their feelings, able to share with others, and able to take turns with peers. Social Skills: At this age, children are able to participate in large and small group activities, can speak in small sentences, and will respond when spoken to. Fine Motor Skills: We continuously work on improving fine motor skills among our Preschool children. They are work on activities that deal with holding a pencil with fingers, stringing large beads, lacing hole pictures, and cutting with scissors. Gross Motor Skills: We continuously work on gross motor skills. They work on activities that deal with catching a large ball, hopping on one foot, and walking backwards. Cognitive Skills: Children, at this age, are able to use “I” rather than “me” in sentences, recognize own printed name, and match basic shapes and colors. |
