| Our Older Toddlers curriculum was created to focus on the primary areas of development for older toddlers. We consistently work with your child and provide them with a surplus of love and care to help them reach necessary milestones. |

| Emotional Skills: We encourage our toddlers to explore their emotions in a positive way. We also encourage the promotion of positive self esteems through different group activities. Social Skills: We encourage toddlers to start participating in group activities. At this age, toddlers are able to play and interact with other children, identify teachers by name, participate in group activities, can begin potty training, and can use manners, such as by saying “please” and “thank you”, when reminded. Fine Motor Skills: We will continuously work on improving your toddler’s fine motor skills. We will work on this with activities that include coloring with crayons, painting with a large paintbrush, stringing large beads, and stacking blocks. Gross Motor Skills: We will continuously work on improving your toddler’s gross motor skills. We will work on this with activities that include throwing balls, rolling balls, and jumping. Cognitive: Cognitive skills are mental skills that are used in the process of acquiring knowledge; these skills include reasoning, perception, and intuition. One way we will work on cognitive skills will be by developing your child's problem solving skills through puzzles, simple oral instructions, and matching simple familiar shapes. |
